FIRM PHILOSOPHY

CEN, Architects Inc., established in 1986, is a professional architecture firm located in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia.  CEN is dedicated to providing the highest quality professional services to our clients while remaining within their design budgets.  We offer skills in zoning waivers and permit administration, energy analysis, programming, space planning, new construction design, renovation/alteration design, construction administration, land planning, and landscape design.

Our “hands-on” project experiences range from small to large design projects including both corporate and professional offices, mid-sized commercial office and retail buildings, specialized projects including petroleum distribution stations, warehouses and airport structures, food service/restaurants, telecommunications, educational and municipal buildings, plus new custom residential projects and residential renovations.

Problem solving is our specialty.  Each project is analyzed and designed to meet the user’s needs while remaining within the specified budget.  The principal architects of CEN are involved in all phases of each project.  Our clients appreciate our attention to detail and this is reflected in our growing list of repeat clients.

CEN Architects Inc. is affiliated with both the AIA and the ASID.  Our award-winning staff emphasizes creativity in every project.  The results of this creativity have been featured in several area publications.  Carl E. Neuberg, the president of CEN Architects, has over 35 years experience in the Washington Metro Area.  He is a registered architect in the states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.  For 12 years he was a member of the Fairfax County Architectural Review Board and for three years he chaired the “Design for Excellence” award jury.
